Okay. I'm not entirely sure what a meme is, but Scarlettah tagged me for one so I assume that means that I just fill this out and curse another five people with the same task. I could be interesting, it could be embarrassing. So bear with me. I will post about real life things again when I get the chance. For now, enjoy!

First, my undestanding of what a meme is: a piece of information that travels quickly and becomes meaningless due to its overuse. An example of this is the word "patriotism" or "freedom". This word is a catchword used by the media and politicians so much that it elicits only an emotional response instead of having any definite meaning.
This is how it was used in a class at PSU a few years ago. It probably has some other, perhaps more original, meaning.

I find it amusing that my list is heavy on the fiction, whereas most others i've seen on this meme (from gute/reformation folks) have been heavy on the philosophy.
